Fashionistas and A-list starlets converged at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday night to celebrate its annual Costume Institute’s exhibition, this year titled “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.” But actual tech leaders who showed up for the fashion world’s big homage to their craft reportedly were not welcomed with open arms.
The alleged Musk snub was just one of the odd tech stories to emerge from fashion’s big night in New York.
On its face, this may seem like a cool tech carpool—a way to cut down on carbon emissions or to brace the harsh fashion crowd by forming a comforting geek squad.
Where it gets weirder is when you remember that Wojcicki and Brin were married for eight years, and separated in 2013 after Brin began dating another Google employee.
The couple had two daughters before splitting up in 2008.

Known for being the ex-wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin, Wojcicki also has two children.
